Pray first.
Scroll later.

Waqt pauses the apps that pull you away at each of the five prayers, then hands your phone back.

Today, at a glance

Your day, arranged around the five.

The sky behind Today follows the real sun where you are. The next window, the countdown, and what's armed — all in one place, nothing to configure twice.

  1. iAstronomical times, calculated on your phone — accurate offline.
  2. iiYour method and madhab, with per-prayer adjustments.
  3. iiiQibla, nearby mosques and lock-screen widgets included.

Set it once.
It keeps time for you.

No willpower contest at adhan. The decision was made earlier, when it was easy.

  1. 01

    Share your location

Waqt works out all five prayer times for where you are, every day, on device.

  2. 02

    Choose what pauses

Social, video, games — pick categories or single apps, and how long the window lasts.

  3. 03

    Pray. Then carry on.

At adhan, the apps go quiet. Tap “I've prayed” or let the window close — they come back on their own.

When adhan calls

A pause,
not a lock.

Calls, messages, maps and camera keep working. Only what you chose goes quiet — and nothing shames you for a missed prayer.

  • I've prayed — reopen now
  • Delay 5 minutes
  • Reopens on its own

Between you and your phone. Nobody else.

  • No hidden monitoring

Waqt blocks the apps you choose. It never reads messages, passwords or anything on your screen.

  • Family with transparency

Children see what is shared before joining. Adults stay self-managed, not secretly watched.

  • No ads, no feed

An app meant to give you time back shouldn't take it.

You select which apps to pause during prayer windows. Waqt uses iOS Screen Time and Android Focus Mode APIs to block those apps. It does not access your content; it only tells the OS to restrict the chosen apps during that window.

The next adhan
is already on its way.
